Constantia Outlook is a magnificent 6-bedroom vacation villa in Constantia, the luscious residential area renowned for its famous wine estates and the gorgeous Kirstenbosch Gardens. Situated on the mountainside at the top of the Constantia Valley, this 2-level, colonial style house boasts outstanding views of the surroundings as well as numerous features ensuring that guests experience a memorable and private self-catering stay.
 
The property offers a stunning amount of space in the interior and the exterior. High-ceilinged, voluminous living areas will amaze you at first, with the entrance hall, generously sized open-plan lounge, formal lounge with a wood-burning fireplace and billiard room with a pool table (includes optional dining top to seat 12).
 
The large, light and bright kitchen, styled with oak cupboards and granite-counter tops, has everything needed for a self-catering stay, including a double electric oven, gas hob (5 rings), separate fridge and freezer, microwave, appliances (mixer, food processor, sandwich toaster, slow cooker) and a separate scullery/laundry with washer, dryer and dishwasher. Additionally, one counter has chairs, providing a dining area for 6.
 
The cosy TV/Bar area features a wooden bar with a counter and 4 stools, small wood-burning fireplace, under-floor heating and flat-screen TV with DStv bouquet (dual view) and DVD player.
 
A small open study comes with Wi-Fi internet access (1-2 Mbps, uncapped).
 
Outside, a large north-facing veranda has a dining area with a table and seating for 8 as well as a luxurious seating area and offers breathtaking mountain and valley views. Beyond the veranda is a vast garden with sweeping lawns. On the other side of the villa, another massive lawn features a large wooden climbing frame, a large koi fishpond and an extensive swimming pool with loungers, accessible from both floors of the property. Furthermore, the exterior features a Weber charcoal BBQ.
 
All the bedrooms are en suite. The main bedroom, with a queen-size bed and bathroom with a bath, shower, basin, toilet and bidet, has its own balcony with mountain views. The second bedroom has a queen-size bed, bathroom consisting of a shower, basin and toilet, and opens out onto the garden veranda with mountain views. The third and fourth bedrooms, like the second bedroom, include queen-size beds, bathrooms comprising of showers, basins and toilets, and open out onto the same garden veranda with views of the mountain. The fifth bedroom is a large loft room, with twin beds, bathroom with a bath, overhead shower, basin and toilet, a sitting area with a TV and dormer windows granting mountain views. The sixth bedroom, with separate access, if needed, has a double bed, bathroom including a shower, basin and toilet, and kitchenette that comprises of a small fridge, microwave, kettle and toaster.
 
2 carports are available and there is plenty of off-street parking available as well. Guests can feel secure in a quiet cul de sac with private access control (a security guard is on duty 24/7), fencing around the property with an electric gate, as well as alarms (garden beams and house perimeter) linked to ADT. Please note that there are child safety issues due to the open pool, steps inside and outside, as well as steep drop offs. A housekeeper is available from Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 14:30, excluding public holidays (to be arranged at an additional cost paid directly to the housekeeper). A gardener is available as well, twice a week.
 
Constantia Outlook is 200 metres from Cecilia Forest for walks, running and access to the Table Mountain National Park and is 1.5 kilometres from Kirstenbosch. Last, but not least, the villa is close to the famous Constantia vineyards.

Cancellation Policy

The following cancellation fees shall be applicable and shall be calculated by reference to funds received at that point. A standard fee of 5% will be charged for all cancellations.

Should the booking be cancelled 31 days or more prior to the check in date, a cancellation fee of 50% of the deposit will be charged.

If we are able to secure another booking for the dates you booked, the remainder of the deposit will be refunded less any nights that werent booked.

Should the booking be cancelled 30 days or less prior to the check in date, 100% of the funds paid will be charged.
